At the moment, the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion of the European Commission is preparing - in cooperation with Grayling - practical national guides for journalists on how the media should deal with poverty and social exclusion.To support this project, they have asked Social Platform if they could share any information it thinks could contribute to the text. They particularly feel that they need more articles / case studies on poverty and social exclusion as well as reports on media trends / analysis at an EU level. Please send any relevant information/documents to David French (David.French@grayling.com), preferably as soon as possible since they are looking to finalise the draft in the next week.
